Your Responsibilities
As a future product capabilities (website) team member, you are running within a Full-Stack team and will:
Support and develop automation solutions which enable our agile software team(s) to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently.
Promote efficient and secure DevOps principles and culture.
Enhance and maintain the CI/CD deployment chain and our cloud-based infrastructure.
Take End-to-End responsibility for a software development life cycle.
Maintain and help to develop a robust, high quality & scalable customer experience platform.
Elaborate solutions and implement software features in short iteration cycles as part of an agile cross-functional team.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Developers and Product Managers to enable the delivery of cutting-edge digital products.
Your Profile
Completed studies in computer science, information technology, related fields or equivalent work experience.
Mandatory: Passion for programming & infrastructure, willingness to learn and to try new things.
5+ years experience in Linux or Unix-based systems administration
2+ years experience in running production loads in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean, GCP, or Azure)
Experience and understanding of TCP/IP networking and VPN solutions
Firm grasp of containerization and related concepts in their orchestration (e.g., Docker, K8s/Kubernetes)
Proficiency with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and common tooling (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
Recommended Tech - Languages: Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Java (open for other languages would be awesome: JavaScript, python, PHP)
Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Docker-Compose, CircleCI, GitHub, Jenkins
Experience working with SCRUM in an agile environment.
Ability to think outside the box.
Strong communication skills and very good knowledge of English - spoken and written. German is a plus - the B level would be awesome.
